Diffraction analysis function has been newly added in TechWiz LCD 3D.

Diffraction analysis is a calculation based on the far-field equation, which determines the grating medium.

The diffracted light is calculated as sum of electric field of the light which is passed through the grating medium.

The simulation results are outputted in the form of polar chart data and two-dimensional image (trn data).

Moreover, diffraction efficiency can be calculated by the polar chart data.

The image analysis can also help you identify the effect of diffraction on the background image and design the grating models as well.
